Search engines are notorious for taking a long
time to index pages. Some include paid-for-pages within
one week — others can take up to six months.
The general time span is between six weeks to four
months.
Many indices and directories now offer a “fast-track”
system. A website owner can pay a fee to be reviewed faster by
a directory editor. Search engines often offer a Pay For Inclusion
(PFI) service whereby pages are paid to be spidered faster, and
more regularly. These practices can radically shorten the time
taken for your site to appear in their listings.
